My latest composite drawing, Eagle Has Landed, is fully outlined and ready for shading. Marking the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo moon landing, this Eagle is a walking catalog of US spacecraft, from the first X-rockets to current and planned space vehicles, with over 100 images detailing the history of aerospace exploration. The bird central to the drawing appeared on the Apollo 11 insignia patch, and subsequently on the reverse of both the Dwight D. Eisenhower and Susan B. Anthony dollar coins.
Slated for completion in early February 2019, the countdown for this picture’s release has begun. Once the drawing is finished, the image will be offered as a 17x22” signed and numbered series of 100 hi-res digital (gicleé) prints. These will retail for $125 each.
Advance Orders are now being taken, for the Early Bird price of $75 – valid until our Eagle touches down at the press.
